I am very much inspired by the work of Maria Sibylla Merian. Merian used her creativity to bring her scientific drawings to life. I want to make drawings that can interest and educate children about nature. In the drawings below I studied and interpreted illustrations from Metamorphosis insectorum Surinamensium.
